OPC services

Optimum Patient Care provides COPD and asthma therapy review services to GP practices in the NHS.

OPC review services aim to improve patient services, with minimal disruption to GP practices and workload, while meeting many of the practice's QOF requirements. OPC works within NICE and BTS guidelines for patient data and COPD and asthma management and is subject to open ended review by independant primary care respiratory medicine experts. The service maintains patient confidentiality. All information extracted from practice systems contains no patient identifiable data and the questionnaires returned to OPC are anonymous. OPC staff only facilitate software implementation and do not review or amend patient records.
